John Kavanagh's All Kinds Of Everything is a wonderful collection of poetry, that comes from the heart. John's writings are vividly descriptive and highly enjoyable. I highly recommend this collection of fine poetry to anyone who enjoys true talent.
I have to preface here that I know the author and I initially bought the book to support him because I thought it was an incredibly brave thing to see someone following their dream. When I received the book I didn't sit down and read it immediately, but after a few days I decided to sit down and read what John wrote and I have to say that I was not disappointed.
I would like to say that his poems are like short stories, but they're not.They give you an insight into snapshots of life, of, love, loss, hurt and of course there is the happiness, the hope and the dreams. It is a little piece of magic, an hour away to remind you of what life is about. I would definitely recommend John's book, not because I know him, but because now I know him more.
